TIGA is a healthcare IT provider that is currently engaged in several national and international scale health IT projects through partnership with the Turkish Ministry of Health (MOH), Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), and Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MOPH).

TIGA has a wide-scale national product range and several patents. One of the main registered TIGA products is Tiga Pharmaceutical Track & Trace System (shortly TIGA PTTS), which has been in operation in Turkey for over a decade and is being operated by TIGA as a unique supplier.

According to the World Health Organization’s report in 2016, there are various track and trace systems all around the world, yet the Turkish Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System (TIGA PTTS), has been indicated as the “first ” system that provides full traceability.

In another independent report, which has been published by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), within all of those systems, TIGA PTTS has been chosen as the “Best Practice”. Similarly, in the United Nations’ “Ensuring Supply Chain Security” Report the PTTS System is reported to be a successful tool for the preservation of public health and the medicine’s supply chain integrity.

As TIGA, in all our projects, our supreme motivation is always “ensuring human health” by providing state-of-art solutions. According to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, we aim to strengthen “Good Health and Well-Being” and “Technology” by eliminating healthcare disruptions with our technology. We believe that our aim is not only ensuring the genuine supply chain but saving lives by fighting against counterfeit drugs and improving the accessibility to health for individuals while correspondingly empowering opportunity equality.

We are proud to indicate that TIGA has a wide scale of on-live proven national and international healthcare IT products which have been implemented in the reference projects as given.

With the expertise that we have gained by developing and implementing such solutions, we can proudly explain that especially our Pharmaceutical Track & Trace System has been used seamlessly in a sample that has over 85 million population, and more than 42 thousand stakeholders in Turkey for more than a decade and in Saudi Arabia since 2018. During this time, we have consistently improved our solutions regarding the “real needs” of the field to provide the “best” and seamless solution and therefore, we can also define our products as “ready-to-use” products.

In 2020, Tiga Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System (TIGA PTTS) played an active role against the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to our solution’s flexibility, we could be able to take action rapidly and we immediately prevented COVID-19 drugs to stock-out in order to provide the right drug to the right patient. In 2021, at the vaccination period, we immediately included all COVID-19 vaccines and confirmed medicines in our system for verifying their originalities and ensuring their traceabilities from manufacturer to patients. Our main aim was to ensure human health by preventing counterfeit vaccines and drugs. Turkey again was the first country where track and trace them fully.
